Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO THE VERDON
Departure in the morning by coach towards Var. Lunch at your leisure en route. Arrival at your accommodation late in the day. Check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE IN THE BAUDINARD GORGES
Breakfast. Departure for the Lower Baudinard Gorges. Descent to the viewpoint of the Sainte-Croix Lake dam. Following the gorges, arrival at Lake Montpezat. Then, a beautiful hike through the forest to the Baudinard Chapel with views of the iconic Provençal peaks and Sainte-Croix Lake. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKE AT LAKE MONTPEZAT
Breakfast, departure for a hike starting from the accommodation. A beautiful loop trail along Lake Montpezat and the Baudinard Gorges with views of formerly inhabited caves, returning via the plateau with views of Sainte-Croix Lake and back through St-Pierre. For the easy level, return via a path that runs along fields and passes by a beautiful farm. Packed lunch during the hike. Return. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN AUPS AND MOUSTIERS
Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of the charming village of Aups with its market. A village of character nestled at the foot of the Espiguières mountain in a privileged environment, at the gates of the Verdon Natural Park. Packed lunch. Departure for a guided tour of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. This classified town, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is built under Europe's purest sky. The town owes its worldwide reputation to the production of faience pottery with unique finesse and decorations. Return. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKE IN THE GRAND GORGES
Breakfast. Departure for a hike on the Blanc-Martel trail.
Easy level: bus drop-off upon arrival of the other group to enjoy the enfilade view of the gorges from the Sublime Point viewpoint, accessible on foot. Then, descend to the bottom of the gorges to walk a part of the Blanc-Martel trail via tunnels towards a "Trescaire" viewpoint. Possibility to return to the banks of the Verdon either at the Baou jump or at the Tusset Bridge. Ascent back to the Sublime Point.
Medium level: the Blanc-Martel trail is THE iconic trail of the Verdon Gorges! A 400 m descent from the Maline chalet to the bottom of the gorges, where you walk alongside the Verdon in places. Some beaches allow you to get close to it beneath the sheer cliffs. Passage through the Brèche Imbert with about fifteen stair landings and the tunnels at the exit at the Samson Couloirs. Ascent back to the Sublime Point. This trail is sometimes steep, a little dizzying, very stony, always magnificent with breathtaking views.

Day 6 - HIKE IN THE LOWER QUINSON GORGES
Breakfast and departure for a magnificent hike in the Lower Quinson Gorges. Passing by rock-cut stairs, suspension bridges, very close to the Verdon where the view is superb. Nothing difficult, but great vigilance is required. After walking alongside the Verdon for some time, sometimes along the rock face, sometimes through undergrowth, arrival at a junction called "la Draille des Vaches". The easy level group returns in the opposite direction to visit the prehistoric village. The hike continues for the medium level group along the Verdon canal. On the plateau (at the top of the cliff overlooking the Verdon), views of the gorges from a relatively wide, flat path amidst the vegetation. Packed lunch during the hike.
Return. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - RETURN
After breakfast, return to your locality. Lunch at your leisure en route. Continue towards your locality.
