Day 1 - DEPARTURE FROM YOUR LOCATION TO THE BURGOS REGION
Departure from your location towards Burgos. Free lunch stop en route. Continuation and arrival in the Burgos region at the end of the day. Transfer to a 3* hotel. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - JOURNEY FROM BURGOS TO ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ
Breakfast and departure to reach the charming Arcos de Valdevez. Lunch stop at a restaurant en route. Welcome by your guide. Check-in at a 4* hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKE IN SISTELO – 22km
Breakfast and departure for a hike in a beautiful setting in the land of the "Portuguese Tibet," so named for its resemblance to the green terraces, small agricultural paths, and pastures frequented by livestock between spring and autumn. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Welcome aperitif. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - HIKE IN PONTE DA BARCA AND PONTE DE LIMA – 21km
Breakfast. Departure for a route between the medieval towns of Ponte da Barca and Ponte de Lima. The path runs along several rivers: Vez and Lima. This hike invites you on a journey from the medieval period to the founding of the Portuguese nation. 20 km long with a gentle elevation gain of 140 m, the path is very shaded and invites swimming at several equipped beaches. The route, on both medieval roads and trails, amidst agricultural lands, passes through chapels and villages lost in time, where daily life seems unchanged. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - PORTO SIGHTSEEING DAY – 99km outbound and 56km return
Breakfast. Departure for a day in Porto. Guided tour of Portugal's second-largest city and its primary industrial center. Porto faces the Douro River. Stroll through the labyrinthine streets with their typical buildings. Free time at the end of the visit in the heart of the city, in the popular Ribeira district with its famous square. Typical bacalhau lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, a boat trip on the famous Douro River. The day will conclude with a visit to the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, where the renowned Port wine ages. Tasting. At the end of the day, departure for the Braga region. Check-in at a 4* hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - HIKE TO SETE LAGOAS – XERTELO – 57km
Breakfast. An unmissable excursion for any nature enthusiast visiting Peneda Gerês National Park. The hike begins near the village of Xertelo. Cross a beautiful forest before venturing onto trails leading to the magnificent turquoise blue lagoons, the main attraction of this hike, already known since Roman times. You can visit, crossing cliffs and rocks, the 7 successive lagoons and contemplate each of them, or for the bravest, swim in the clear, turquoise waters. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - LEVADA AND KING'S MILLS HIKE – 76km
Breakfast. During this hike, you will follow a medieval irrigation canal that still supplies water to the village of Abadim in the Cabeceiras de Basto region. The trail, always in refreshing undergrowth, is dotted with points of interest such as medieval mills, industrial archaeology, a very beautiful viewpoint over pastures, and a cedar forest where wild horses are often spotted. The hike ends at a dam, perfect for a moment of relaxation after the effort and an excellent "farewell" to Portugal. At the end of the day, return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 8 - DEPARTURE TO THE SAN SEBASTIAN REGION
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the San Sebastian region. Lunch stop at a restaurant en route. Check-in at a 3* hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 - RETURN TO YOUR LOCATION
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards France. Free lunch stop en route. Continuation and arrival at your location at the end of the day.
