Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO PORTO
Meeting at the airport according to flight schedules. Check-in procedures and flight to Porto. Upon your arrival, welcome by our local assistant. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in to rooms, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE IN SISTELO
Breakfast and departure for a hike in a beautiful setting in the land of the 'Portuguese Tibet', so named for its resemblance to the green terraces, small agricultural paths, and pastures frequented by cattle between spring and autumn. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Welcome aperitif. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKE IN PONTE DA BARCA AND PONTE DE LIMA
Breakfast. Departure for a route between the medieval towns of Ponte da Barca and Ponte de Lima. The path runs along several rivers: Vez and Lima. This hike offers a journey from the medieval period to the founding of the Portuguese nation. 20 km long with a gentle elevation gain of 140 m, the path is very shaded and invites swimming at several equipped beaches. The route, on both medieval roads and trails, through agricultural lands, passes chapels and villages lost in time, where daily life seems unchanged. Packed lunch during the hike. Day 4 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN PORTO
Breakfast. Departure for a day in Porto. Guided tour of Portugal's second-largest city and the country's primary industrial center. Porto faces the Douro River. Stroll through the labyrinthine streets with their typical buildings. Free time at the end of the visit in the heart of the city, in the popular Ribeira district with its famous square. Typical bacalhau lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, a boat trip on the famous Douro River. The day will conclude with a visit to the cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, where the renowned Port wine ages. Tasting. At the end of the day, departure for Braga. Check-in to the hotel. Day 5 - HIKE IN SETE LAGOAS
Breakfast. An unmissable excursion for any nature enthusiast visiting the Peneda Gerês National Park. The hike begins near the village of Xertelo. Cross a beautiful forest before venturing onto trails leading to the magnificent turquoise blue lagoons, the main attraction of this hike, already known since Roman times. You can visit, crossing cliffs and rocks, the 7 successive lagoons and contemplate each of them, or for the bravest, swim in the clear turquoise waters. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - HIKE ON THE PORTELA DA FAIRRA TRAIL
Breakfast. The Fojo do Lobo of Portela da Fairra is a unique example of the cultural and historical heritage of the inhabitants of the municipality of Montalegre. The itinerary allows for contact with the culture and traditional life of the villages. The hike begins by crossing the village of Parada Do Outeiro, dotted with traditional country houses and rock-carved fountains. The trail, upon leaving the village, gives way to a structure of great ethnographic, cultural, and scientific value. The Fojo do Lobo de Cabrita is a stone trap with circular walls over 2 m high. Ascending the path, you arrive at a natural viewpoint offering a breathtaking view of the Paradela dam reservoir and the Serra do Gerês. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel.
