In the region, we literally find thousands of these majestic specimens, a sea of authentic olive trees. Along a simple route, we will cross the historic center of Canet lo Roig and, walking through rural paths, discover its natural and cultural history as well as spectacular examples of these living monuments. At the end of the visit, we will enjoy a professional tasting of extra virgin olive oil from 2 local varieties, authentic olive juices made from ancient olive trees by an expert local producer. Afterwards, we will go to the neighboring town of Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary of Font de la Salut, one of only five royal sanctuaries in Spain. Breakfast. Full-day excursion with a hike: Where the Palancia River unfolds to flow towards its mouth, we find Jérica. Water accompanies us, starting from the historic springs of Randurías. We will continue along the riverbank, then move inland, passing through the aquatic area of Los Chorradores, up to the natural monument of Vuelta de la Hoz: impressive cuts in a fluvial karst landscape unlike few others. After learning the ins and outs of this ecosystem, we will ascend to the medieval historic center of Jérica: walls, towers, and gates that precede the famous Mudejar tower of Alcudia, unique in its kind in the Valencian Community. Finally, we will visit the Viver cooperative, recognized for its fantastic work in recovering traditional crops and as an excellent agro-tourism experience. We will visit it and taste its products. Lunch at the Cooperative. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - HIKE IN ALT MAESTRAT

The town of Ares, a legendary town and an essential passage between the interior and coastal regions, boasts several natural and cultural gems worth visiting. Strolling through landscapes of limestone rock, black pines, and holm oaks, we will find ourselves in Ares, atop its imposing peak, which dominates a vast sea of mountains as far as the eye can see. Traditional lunch at a restaurant. After a short ascent, we will visit the most spectacular evidence of cave painters from 8,500 years ago, a time when humans began to settle in the territory: the Cova Remigia. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN JUNGLE
Breakfast. Full-day excursion with a hike: The Sierra de Espadán is not only a large mountain range in Valencian territory and an invaluable ecological corridor between the humid, wild, and continental interior and the subtropical agricultural coast. It is what some of us know as the authentic Mediterranean jungle, a forest that shelters the wildest and best-preserved cork oak forests in this part of the Mediterranean. It was the homeland of the Muslims who, in the 16th century, sought to establish an independent territory to escape the impositions of Christian rulers. We will visit the heart of the natural park in the beautiful town of Aín, ascending towards its castle among the cork oaks. Return via the town of Mascarell, a fortified gem nestled among orange groves. Lunch will be provided at a restaurant. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Option to extend the circuit with an ascent to the castle

We will be able to enjoy the best-preserved ecosystems and discover one of the richest places in biodiversity, with its unique fauna and flora. Upon arriving in Peñíscola, the last Templar hideout of the 14th century, we will take a city tour, exploring the Papa Luna Castle and the main sites of the historic center of this legendary fortress-city.
