Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO LOURDES
Departure from your location towards Luz-Saint-Sauveur. Lunch at your leisure en route. Check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE TO CIRQUE DE GAVARNIE
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by bus for the Cirque de Gavarnie, a true jewel of the Pyrenees, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This hike takes you through breathtaking landscapes, where you can admire dizzying cliffs, majestic waterfalls, and rich alpine flora. Lunch will be a packed meal. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Easy Level: Le Tour de La Prade. A circuit in the valley floor to the foot of the Cirque de Gavarnie.
Medium Level: Le plateau de Bellevue. A loop that ascends to a natural viewpoint (1700m) and descends towards the bottom of the Cirque de Gavarnie.
Difficult Level: Le Pailla and the Espugues trail. A long circuit that allows you to discover the cirque from different viewpoints, with a spectacular return.
Day 3 - HIKE IN THE NÉOUVIELLE RESERVE
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Néouvielle massif. You will find yourselves in a unique mountain natural area, with remarkable bioclimatic originality. Its rich flora and fauna, its lakes, and its landscapes have long received special attention. Created in 1936, this reserve is one of the first in France. Here, nature exceeds expectations: hook pines break records for longevity and altitude, over 570 species of algae are recorded, and there are more than 70 lakes (Aumar, Aubert, Orédon, Cap de Long…). Packed lunch.
Easy Level: Aygues-Cluses Valley. Round trip discovery of this beautiful granite valley.
Moderate Level: Lakes Tour. On this day, you can discover up to 5 high-altitude lakes in a unique landscape.
Difficult Level: Aygues-Cluses Tour. A grand lake tour spanning two valleys, passing through the Tracens Pass (2490m).
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - TOURIST DAY AT PIC DU MIDI AND IN LOURDES
Breakfast at the hotel. Head to the Pic du Midi; upon arrival in La Mongie, board the cable car to reach the summit. Enjoy the panoramic terraces, the museum that will immerse you in the region's history and culture, and the skywalk offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, discover Lourdes. You will enjoy a panoramic tour, followed by a walking exploration of the old town, discovering the significant sites from the life of young Bernadette Soubirous. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKE TO CIRQUE DE TROUMOUSSE AND ESTAUBE
Breakfast. Today, you will set off to discover the Cirque de Troumouse. This journey will lead you along trails, through the heart of magnificent mountains and lush valleys. Lunch will be a packed meal.
Easy Level: Gloriettes Tour. A short circuit that allows you to discover a part of the Cirque d'Estaubé as well as Lake Gloriettes.
Medium Level: Pouey Boucou Crossing. A beautiful panoramic traverse from Lake Gloriettes, facing the immensity of the Cirque de Troumouse.
Difficult Level: Cirque de Troumouse. A loop from the hamlet of Héas to approach a unique viewpoint over Troumouse and its rocky peak (optional). Return via the bottom of the cirque.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - HIKE TO PONT D’ESPAGNE AND IN THE GAUBE VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Cauterets and more specifically towards Pont d'Espagne. This magnificent structure overlooks tumultuous waters. Upstream from the Bridge, you can admire the waterfalls originating from the Gave de Gaube. Then, head to the legendary Lake Gaube where you can admire its idyllic setting and breathtaking panorama. Lunch will be a packed meal. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - RETURN
