Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO MONTAFON
Departure from your location towards Austria via motorway. Free lunch stop en route. In the afternoon, continuation towards MONTAFON (Austria). Arrival at the hotel in the Vorarlberg region. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE TO INNERBERG, KRISTBERG AND WILDRIED
Breakfast and departure from the beautiful Montafon Valley to Bartholomäberg, with a discovery of its beautiful baroque church. Then continuation to Innerberg with its flowery meadows and typical Montafon chalets. After the first ascent, the two groups will split: the medium level will ascend a higher path, and the easy level will remain on the path leading to Kristberg, a center for silver and copper mines in the Middle Ages. Visit to the Miners' Chapel. Both groups will then continue towards Wildried, which is a peat bog located at 1,500 m, a rarity! Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKE IN LIECHTENSTEIN FROM VADUZ TO TRIESENBERG
Breakfast and departure for Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, the starting point of the hike. As you head towards Vaduz Castle, you will enjoy an impressive view of the Vaduz valley. You will then take the "Grüschaweg" trail, in the Fürstenwald forest, to reach the mountain village of Triesenberg, one of the country's most charming villages with its old houses and flowery balconies. Descent towards Vaduz, passing through "Weiler Rotaboda" and in front of the castle. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - SIGHTSEEING DAY AT LAKE CONSTANCE AND BREGENZ
After breakfast, departure for Bregenz. Guided tour of the regional capital of Vorarlberg, the westernmost region of Austria. The upper part of the city houses the historic medieval center, whose emblem is Saint Martin's Tower. The lower city, on the other hand, presents a more modern face, marked by the hand of several renowned architects such as Hans Hollein, Jean Nouvel, and Peter Zumthor. Lunch at a restaurant in Bregenz. In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip on Lake Constance from Bregenz to Lindau (approximately 20 min duration). Free time afterwards to discover the Lindau peninsula. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKE TO LAKE LÜNERSEE
Breakfast and departure by coach to the Lünersee Bahn cable car station. Ascent by cable car to Lake Lünersee. The hike begins on a path leading to the north side of Lake Lünersee. The medium level will continue for the last few meters towards the "Totalp-Hütte" refuge, along the large rocky massif with an impressive view of the peaks of the Silvretta, Verwall, and Bernina ranges. Descent by a more direct path to the lake. The easy level will remain on the path along the lake to enjoy magnificent views of its crystal-clear waters. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - HIKE TO VERGALDEN ALP AND MADRISAHÜTTE
Breakfast and departure by coach to Gargellen, the highest mountain village in the Montafon region at 1,423 m. The path begins together, then the two levels continue into two neighboring valleys, the Vergalden Valley and the Valzifenz Valley, both famous for their wide variety of alpine flowers and herbs. The destination for the medium level is the Vergaldner Alpe mountain pasture at 1,820 m, a producer of cheese and butter in the traditional way. Return by the same path to Gargellen. The easy level will hike along the stream to the Madrisa Hütte shelter. The flowery meadows around the shelter invite a break before descending back to Gargellen. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - RETURN
Breakfast and departure towards France. Free lunch stop on the motorway. Continue towards your location and arrive in the evening.
