Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO CASTEJON
Departure in the morning by coach towards the Spanish border. Lunch at leisure en route. Arrival in Castejon. Group welcome by the local guide. Check-in at a 3-star hotel. Welcome aperitif. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE ON THE KING'S TRAIL
Breakfast. A perfect hike to discover the landscape and historical heritage of Bardena Blanca. Near the city of Tudela are the ruins of Estaca Castle; today, only the watchtower remains on the edge of an impressive cliff. At the top of the hill, a 360-degree panoramic view. Then, hike along the ridges to approach the clay edges with incredible pink, ochre, and blue tones. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN PAMPLONA AND OLITE
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the city of Pamplona. Stroll through its picturesque medieval quarters, including Plaza del Castillo, which marks the transition between the modern and old parts of the city and was the castle's parade ground in the Middle Ages. Visit the cathedral, dedicated to the Virgen del Sagrario, one of Spain's most important religious buildings. Lunch at a restaurant. Continue to Olite. In the afternoon, visit one of the region's most interesting villages. Discover its rich artistic heritage: churches, convents, medieval galleries, and fortified enclosure. In recent years, Navarre wine has gained significant importance, and Olite has become the wine capital of the province. Day 4 - HIKE IN BARDENA BLANCA: RIVA BLANCA-MESALOBAR
Breakfast. Excursion to discover Bardena Blanca, located in the Bardenas Natural Park, with its spectacular formations of hills, ravines, and structures formed by erosion. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN ZARAGOZA
Breakfast. Departure for a full-day excursion to Zaragoza: in the morning, a walking tour of the old town, which has preserved the imprint of different cultures (Roman, Muslim, and Christian) that have contributed to making Zaragoza a true architectural treatise. Visit the Basilica del Pilar, Spain's largest Baroque sanctuary and the oldest Marian temple in Christendom. Known and called in Spain: "La Virgen del Pilar". Then, discover the site of the Zaragoza International Expo, which took place in 2008. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Seo Cathedral of Zaragoza, with its impressive polychrome alabaster altar. Visit the magnificent Aljafería Palace, one of the most representative and emblematic monuments of Aragonese Mudejar art. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - HIKE TO CABEZO DEL FRAILE AND CASTLE DEL FRAILE
Breakfast. A beautiful hike that will lead to the ascent of the rock formation called Cabezo del Fraile, followed by a visit to Bardena Negra, less known and less touristically exploited than its northern counterparts. In addition to the natural beauty of Bardena Negra from the viewpoint at the top of Cabezo, discover Castle del Fraile. Legends say that secret passages infiltrated this geological feature to allow occupants to exit from within. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Dancing evening in the hotel's disco with a glass of Cava. Overnight stay.
