Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO MALAGA
Meeting and check-in at the airport. Flight to Malaga. Upon arrival, transfer to Capileira. Hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE IN THE ALPUJARRA MOUNTAINS AND WHITE VILLAGES
Breakfast and departure for a hike in Alpujarra, following a circular route connecting three of the region's most beautiful white villages: Capileira, Bubión, and Pampaneira. Capileira is the highest of the three villages, perched at an altitude of 1,650 m. This typical village, with its whitewashed houses and cobbled streets, offers breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada peaks and the valley below. From Capileira, a gentle descent through trails lined with Mediterranean forests and agricultural terraces. Then, a stop at the village of Bubión, located at an altitude of approximately 1,300 m. Finally, a descent to Pampaneira, at an altitude of 1,000 m. This lively village is famous for its local crafts and picturesque streets. Packed lunch during the hike. Day 3 - HIKE FROM CAPILEIRA TO TREVELEZ
Breakfast and departure for a hike along historic trails, connecting Capileira to Trevélez, passing through remarkable natural sites. Leaving Capileira, ascend towards Haza el Cerezo, a tranquil site nestled in the heart of the mountains, through meadows and paths lined with dry stone walls, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada. Continue towards Barranco del Jabalí, a spectacular ravine where nature reigns supreme, then through a majestic oak forest, providing shade and coolness, perfect for a break before the final ascent. The climb continues to the highest point of the hike, at an altitude of 2,100 m, where a breathtaking panorama awaits you. From this point, you can admire the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada and valleys stretching as far as the eye can see. The descent leads you to the emblematic village of Trevélez, located at an altitude of 1,600 m. This village is famous for its cured ham, local crafts, and authentic mountain atmosphere. Day 4 - HIKE IN THE TREVELEZ VALLEY
Breakfast and departure for a hike in the heart of the high mountain valley of Trevélez, combining ecological richness, spectacular landscapes, and local traditions. The hike begins in the village of Trevélez, located at an altitude of 1,600 m and considered one of the highest villages in Spain. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this village offers a picturesque setting, with its typical white houses and breathtaking views of the surrounding valley, featuring stunning landscapes: deep gorges, lush meadows, and pine and oak forests. The trail winds between rocky cliffs and traditional agricultural lands, offering a total immersion in the wild beauty of the region. Back in Trevélez, the experience continues with a visit to a ham factory, an emblem of local gastronomy. Discover the traditional drying methods in an artisanal drying room, passed down from generation to generation. Day 5 - HIKE FROM TREVELEZ TO FERREIROLA
Breakfast and departure for a fascinating hike, which will lead you through varied landscapes and picturesque villages of Alpujarra. This itinerary combines nature, tradition, and architectural beauty, crossing forests, cultivated terraces, and typical villages. From Trevélez, cross agricultural terraces where cultivation still follows traditional methods. These fields, bordered by stone walls, bear witness to the ancestral way of life of the region's inhabitants. After leaving the terraced crops, hike through a forest mixing pines and oaks, offering shade and serenity along the trail, then arrive at the village of Busquístar, at an altitude of 1,250 m. This traditional village preserves its typical architecture, with its whitewashed houses and flat roofs characteristic of Alpujarra. From Busquístar, descend to Ferreirola, located at an altitude of 1,000 m. This small picturesque village is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and natural pure water springs. Packed lunch. Day 6 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN GRANADA
Breakfast and departure for a day excursion. In the morning, drive to Granada, an Iberian city that invites contemplation of beauty. Cultural capital of southern Spain, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, this large mountain range of the Iberian Peninsula. Visit the Alhambra (ID to be provided upon booking to guarantee site reservation), the last flowering of Muslim art in Spain, used by Muslim kings as a place of rest. Discover the Nasrid Palaces and the wonderful Generalife Gardens (Architect's Gardens). Tapas lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, discover the city, the urban center with the exteriors of the Corral del Carbon, the Cathedral, and the Royal Chapel, a sumptuous Gothic-style building, where the Catholic Monarchs rest. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - RETURN
