Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO OLBIA OR CAGLIARI
Meet at the departure airport as per scheduled times. Boarding formalities and flight to Sardinia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Cala Gonone, Orosei, or the surrounding area, and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKE TO GOLA GORROPU CANYON
After breakfast, depart by 4x4 for a hike to discover Cala Gorropu, an imposing canyon with majestic walls over 400 m high. Cross the small Oddoene valley. After passing the Riu Flumineddu, an off-the-beaten-path trail allows you to continue walking through tall vegetation of holm oaks, strawberry trees, and Mediterranean scrub. Inside the gorges, the hike continues along the dry riverbed, which now flows underground and emerges at times. The difficulty increases slightly at the end of the gorges, where the most interesting part, with the highest walls, is discovered. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel at the end of the walk. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKE TO THE SEA AND MOUNTAINS, AT CALA LUNA
After breakfast, depart by 4x4 towards the locality of Buchi Arta via a panoramic road and the typical (still active) sheepfolds of this rugged and unspoiled landscape. From this point, walk to the beach via Scala S’Arga. Free time on the magnificent Cala Luna beach and return by Zodiac. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - HIKE TO TISCALI AND ITS CAVE
After breakfast, hike into the heart of Supramonte, a mountainous area characterized by high carbonate plateaus and sinkholes. Tiscali is formed by a small karstic relief at the summit of which is a sinkhole, which later became a cave where a Nuragic village is believed to have been built. The village, built beneath the walls of the sinkhole, is not visible to visitors until they have entered. Arrive at the site via the Lanaittu valley. Near the foot of the mountain, walk along a panoramic trail to the archaeological site. After visiting the site, return. Packed lunch during the hike. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKE TO MONTES FOREST
Breakfast and departure for a hike in Supramonte, essential for discovering the island's traditions. Depart from Cala Gonone/Dorgali by 4x4 towards Orgosolo. From this point, walk through the Montes state forest, passing by the village of Funtana Bona, Monte Novo San Giovanni located at 1,316 m, and the characteristic sheepfolds, in the heart of one of the island's best-preserved natural environments. Typical lunch with shepherds. End the day with a visit to the village of Orgosolo and the discovery of its frescoes. Return to the hotel at the end of the day, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN THE GULF OF OROSEI
Breakfast and departure for a day of discovery of the Gulf of Orosei from Cala Gonone. Route towards Goloritzé beach, passing by coves and beaches: Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola... Swimming is planned in the most spectacular spots from Zodiacs, in clear and crystalline waters. Seafood lunch during the day. Free time if possible at the end of the day. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel by coach. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - HIKE TO DORGALI AND CALA FUILI
Breakfast, then departure towards Dorgali, approximately 400 m above sea level. Cross an ancient path leading to the old gallery excavated in 1936, and arrive at the path joining Mount Bardia and Mount Tului, which overlook Cala Gonone. Begin the descent towards the small basaltic plateau of Toddeitto for a packed lunch break. Then, continue along the trail to the beautiful Cala Fuili beach. Packed lunch during the hike. At the end of the hike, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 - RETURN
After breakfast, free time depending on flight schedule. Then, transfer by coach to the airport. Formalities and boarding for France on a low-cost flight.
