Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO EMPURIABRAVA
Departure in the morning from your location towards Spain. Lunch at your leisure en route. Arrival in the late afternoon in the Empuriabrava region. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - AQUATIC WALK AND DISCOVERY OF EMPORDÀ
After breakfast, depart for Rosas, which opens onto its 15 km long bay, offering more than 7 km of beaches. In the morning, we will enjoy its sandy beaches and the calm sea during a shallow water excursion. A 2-hour maritime activity to discover its beaches. Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, a short hike between the towns of Sant Pere Pescador and Castelló d'Empúries through the Empordà Marshes Natural Park. An easy trail suitable for everyone. During the walk, discover bird observation hides where, in high season, up to 380 different bird species gather, such as flamingos or storks. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - AQUATIC WALK AND EXPLORATION OF ROSAS
After breakfast, depart for Rosas. You will discover several beaches, such as "Canyelles Petites," nestled between rocky cliffs. This picturesque beach is known for its turquoise waters. A 2-hour maritime activity. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Citadel of Rosas, located facing the sea. Europe's first modern citadel. It offers historic ramparts, a museum on local history, peaceful gardens, and breathtaking views of the Bay of Rosas. Free time in Rosas. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN CADAQUÉS
Breakfast and departure for Cadaqués. Visit the exterior of Dalí's house on Portlligat beach. Then visit one of Spain's most emblematic villages: Cadaqués. A village that has preserved the magic of past centuries with its magnificent Santa María church. Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the residence of his wife Gala in the wonderful village of Púbol, a 10th-century castle restored by her husband. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - AQUATIC WALK AND VISIT TO EMPÚRIES
After breakfast, depart from your hotel towards Sant Martí d'Empúries, a charming medieval village on the coast, perched atop a cliff. Its beautiful 2 km beaches and crystal-clear waters are the ideal location for an aquatic hike (2 hours).
Packed lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the Roman Ruins of Empúries. The ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Empúries constitute the most visited archaeological site in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain. Scientific excavations began in 1908 and are still ongoing. Visit the museum. At the end of the day, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - RETURN
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards France. Lunch at your leisure en route. Continue and return to your location.
Please note: No special equipment is required for coastal walking other than closed water shoes. Recommended but not mandatory: a neoprene wetsuit (depending on temperatures).
