Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO TIRANA AND SHKODRA
Check-in and boarding formalities. Flight to Albania. Assistance and transfer to the hotel in Shkodra. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - HIKING IN SHKODRA, THETH AND GRUNAS WATERFALL
After breakfast, depart for Theth village for a hike following the stream. At an altitude of 30 meters above sea level, Grunasi Waterfall is one of the most extraordinary natural beauties of the Albanian Alps. It is located on the western slope of Theth Valley. Opportunity to ascend to the natural pools of Nderlys. Packed lunch. Then return to Theth, check into the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3 - HIKING TO THE BLUE EYE
After breakfast, depart by minibus to reach Nderlys and the "Blue Eye" located in Kaprre village. The Blue Eye is a natural spring of azure crystal-clear water, surrounded by lush vegetation and a peaceful forest. The astonishing clarity of the water reflects the sky, creating an enchanting spectacle. The region is ideal as it offers opportunities for serene walks along shaded trails. Day 4 - HIKING TO ARAPI PEAK
After breakfast, depart for a day of hiking. Arapi Peak, nicknamed "The Matterhorn of Albania," is one of the highest peaks in Theth Valley, offering spectacular views of the valley. A popular hiking destination, it features numerous caves, the largest of which measures 2585 meters and rises 346 meters. Packed lunch at Peja Notch during the hike. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5 - HIKING TO DENELLE
Breakfast and departure from the hotel northeast to Ulaj. The ascent first takes you through a forest path, once used by donkeys, to a first plateau where views open up to the village below. Continue then at the foot of large cliffs and through the forest before emerging into the alpine meadows of Fusha e Denellit, at an altitude of 1600 meters, also known as the "pastures above the clouds." Surrounded by a chain of high mountains, the view of Theth Valley is incredible! Packed lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 - HIKING TO VALBONA PASS
Breakfast and departure towards Valbona Pass, which offers a magnificent view of both valleys, Valbona and Theth. This hike follows the route of an ancient mule track connecting the tribal regions of Shala and Nikaj. Wild landscapes of jagged peaks, deep valleys, and wooded slopes, the route connects two valleys: Theth Valley and Valbona Valley. Packed lunch. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 7 - SIGHTSEEING DAY IN TIRANA
After breakfast, drive to Tirana, the capital, for a day of sightseeing. Visit the city's main boulevard, the monument to national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, and several historic buildings such as the Et'hem Bej Mosque, and the Clock Tower, which is 35 meters high and was built in 1830. Walk towards the Blloku area near the former dictator Enver Hoxha's house. This is the city's liveliest district, with many bars, restaurants, etc. Lunch at a lakeside restaurant. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 8 - RETURN
Breakfast, then transfer by coach to the airport. Check-in, boarding formalities, and flight to France.
