Day 1 - DEPARTURE TO AULLA
Departure in the morning from your location towards Italy. Lunch at your leisure en route. Arrival in the late afternoon in the Aulla region. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 - SIGHTSEEING HIKE IN MANAROLA, CORNIGLIA, AND RIOMAGGIORE
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to La Spezia station to take the train to Corniglia (village visit upon arrival). Departure from the trail towards Volastra with magnificent views of the vineyards, passing under Case Pianac and Porciana to arrive at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Health. Trail with very beautiful panoramic views. Packed lunch in front of the Church, then descent to Manarola (approx. 1 hour), followed by a guided tour. Then, departure by train to Riomaggiore with free time to enjoy the village. Return by train to La Spezia, then to the hotel by coach. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - SIGHTSEEING HIKE IN LEVANTO, MONTEROSSO, AND VERNAZZA
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Levanto by train from La Spezia. Cross the city center and view the beautiful San Andrea church, then begin the hike towards Mount Vè and up to the Mesco promontory. Rapid descent to Monterosso and, after visiting the village, continue the hike to Vernazza and visit. In the afternoon, free time for those who do not wish to continue hiking. For hikers: continuation of the hike from Monterosso to Vernazza. This section is reserved for experienced hikers. The first part is an ascent through vineyards with alternating steep slopes and narrow flat sections. 2 km from Monterosso, there is an equipped and secured point, and the start of a rather steep descent towards Vernazza. Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - SIGHTSEEING HIKE TO PALMARIA ISLAND TOWER AND PORTO VENERE
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to La Spezia by coach. Then, embark on the boat to Palmaria Island. A hike that will allow you to discover the remains of a military structure and evidence of the extraction activity of the famous 'portoro' marble. This loop ends in Terrizzo. The group will then take the boat for the crossing to Porto Venere. Continue with a visit to the upper part of Porto Venere, including its castle. Descent to the village and return by boat to La Spezia. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 - SIGHTSEEING HIKE IN CAMOGLI, PORTOFINO, AND SANTA MARGHERITA LIGURE
Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Ruta di Camogli by coach. Start of the hike with an ascent of approximately 250 m to Pietre Strette. Begin the descent towards San Fruttuoso and stop at San Fruttuoso Abbey. Packed lunch. In the afternoon, boat crossing to Portofino (for non-hikers). For hikers: from San Fruttuoso, continue to Portofino via the trail. This trail is accessible to experienced hikers, featuring numerous high steps and overlooking the coastline at points 200 m above sea level. After approximately 2 hours of walking, arrival in Portofino. The entire group then continues to Santa Margherita by boat and returns to the hotel by coach. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - SIGHTSEEING HIKE FROM RIOMAGGIORE TO PORTO VENERE
Departure from the hotel by coach to Riomaggiore. Begin with a somewhat steep ascent to the Church of Our Lady of Monte Nero, then continue towards Liminie and then the Telegraph. Start of a gentle descent to Campiglia. Stop for a packed lunch and possibility of a tour of the small village. The afternoon holds the most technical and impressive part of the hike: the descent to Portovenere. This section, with its technical and slightly dizzying rocky passages, is undoubtedly the most demanding and spectacular stage of the program. Upon arrival in the village, transfer back to your hotel by coach. For the easy group, there is the option of a loop hike from Tramonti. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - RETURN
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards France. Lunch at your leisure en route. Continuation and return to your location.
